Key to the role will be leading financial support for the bi-annual capital planning process and presentation of the capital plan to key stakeholders and the executive management team. This will include working closely with the Operations Finance team with regards to manufacturing and supply chain-related projects to be included within the capital plan as well as supporting the product marketing and new product development teams with the launch of new products, providing financial support and insight to help drive acceptable returns on Investment for the business.
You’ll be someone who enjoys attention to detail, spotting trends and using numbers to make positive change. Driving improvements in the efficiency and control of new product launch processes as well as implementing processes to drive effective development phase reviews and post-investment appraisals.
But at the heart of all your commercial acumen, will be a strong, detail focussed accountant. You will have ownership of P&L depreciation forecasts as well as plenty of month-end posting and analysis.
You will need to be based a commutable distance from the offices in Exeter but there is a flexible approach to how often you are in the office e.g 2/3 days from home but with the flexibility to suit the needs of the business e.g stakeholder meetings.
